Plumber in Tampa, FL

A+ BBB · Licensed since 1994

A plumber in Tampa is not one job. The house on N Florida in Seminole Heights still has clay in the yard. The Palma Ceia ranch has copper in the slab. The 1992 New Tampa two-story has polybutylene the insurance company wants gone. Titan has run those calls from 8407 N Mitchell Ave since 1994.

This page is for people searching plumber Tampa or emergency plumbing Tampa. The full service menu lives on the plumbing hub. Neighborhood detail lives on pages like South Tampa plumber, Carrollwood plumber, and Seminole Heights plumber. Here is how we work across the city, what fails in which ZIP, and how to get a licensed tech on the driveway Monday through Saturday.

License CFC1430231, checkable at myfloridalicense.com. Electrical on the same ticket under EC13012958 when a water heater or panel is part of the job. Call (813) 933-8010. Closed Sunday. We do not work overnight.

Where a Tampa plumber actually works

Titan covers the city and the first ring of suburbs. The shop sits in 33604, so Seminole Heights, Sulphur Springs, and East Tampa are short runs. South Tampa, Carrollwood, New Tampa, Temple Terrace, Brandon, and Lutz are regular dispatch the same day when the board is open.

  • South Tampa and Hyde Park. Cast iron, clay laterals, slab copper. See plumbers in South Tampa.
  • Seminole Heights, Ybor, West Tampa, East Tampa. 1920s to 1950s stock, mixed City of Tampa water and old laterals. See Seminole Heights plumber.
  • Carrollwood, Lake Magdalene, Northdale. 1960s ranches through 1980s Village. See Carrollwood plumber.
  • New Tampa and Tampa Palms. 1990s polybutylene and HOA irrigation backflow. See New Tampa plumber.
  • Temple Terrace, Lutz, Land O Lakes. Hillsborough and Pasco permits, well and septic on some lots.
  • Brandon and Riverview. Same crew, same flat rate. Start on the Brandon area page.

Emergency plumbing in Tampa, Monday through Saturday

Emergency plumbing Tampa callers usually have sewage on the floor, a burst line, or a tank dumping in the garage. Shut the main if water is spreading. We dispatch the same day Monday through Saturday. A live person answers. Closed Sunday. We do not work overnight, so a 2 a.m. call waits until morning.

If two fixtures back up at once, say that when you call. That is the building sewer, not a plunger job. The emergency plumbing page has the wait-steps. This page is the city landing that should rank for plumber Tampa and emergency plumbing Tampa.

Water heater repair and replacement across Tampa

Hillsborough water runs about 7 to 10 grains of hardness. A tank that lasts twelve years in a soft-water city often dies at year eight here. Rust ring on the garage floor, no hot water, or a T&P that weeps are the usual water heater repair calls.

We size tank and tankless to real shower load, set the pan and expansion tank, and pull the City of Tampa or Hillsborough permit. Tankless needs gas or electrical on the same visit. That is why the electrical license sits on the same truck.

Drain cleaning and Tampa clay laterals

One slow bath is usually a drain cleaning job. The bath plus the kitchen plus a floor drain is the sewer. Live oaks find every clay joint in 33604, 33606, and 33612. We camera first. A cable that worked last month often left the root mass on the wall.

When grease or roots coat the pipe, hydro jetting at 3,500 to 4,000 PSI is the tool if the camera says the pipe can take it. A cracked clay bell is sewer line repair, not another snake. The clay-line notes are also in the Tampa clay sewer blog.

Slab leaks, repipes, and polybutylene

A warm tile, a spinning meter, or a baseboard stain in a 1950s ranch is often a slab leak. We locate before anyone saws the floor. One pinhole is a repair. Two in six months is a repipe conversation.

Gray flexible supply with crimp rings in a 1985 to 1995 house is polybutylene. Insurers in Florida have been dropping those policies for years. We replace it in PEX-A and give you paper for the carrier. Water line repair is the yard run from the meter, not the slab.

Permits in the City of Tampa vs Hillsborough

Inside city limits, plumbing permits run through City of Tampa Construction Services. Carrollwood, a lot of New Tampa, Brandon, and Lutz sit in unincorporated Hillsborough and go through County Development Services. We pull the right desk. You do not have to guess the jurisdiction from the ZIP.

Flood-zone water heaters on Bayshore and Davis Islands can trigger elevation rules after Helene. We tell you that before we order a tank. Hyde Park exterior vents can need historic review. Neighborhood pages cover those rules in more depth.

What a plumber Tampa visit costs

We quote a flat rate on site after we see the house and, on drains, the camera. Published market ranges, not a Titan quote: Angi-style Tampa drain cleaning often lands in the low-to-mid hundreds. A tank swap is more. A slab reroute or whole-house repipe is a scheduled week. You approve the number before we start.

We recently had our two water heaters replaced. Ariel did a great job making sure that they were installed and working. We have an older house and Ariel had to solve some connection issues to get everything installed and operational. Titan was professional and skilled and the hot water and water pressure are great now.

After this year's hurricanes, Titan is the only business I can rely on to show up when they say they will be there. Months after the storms blew through, we struggle to work with any company because the supply chain is so limited. I wish all companies were as honest as Titan. Their field technicians are not only highly skilled but very kind. Thank you Titan for your enduring commitment to integrity and great service!

I was running late getting home and the plumber waited for an hour on me. I appreciate him and his partner's patience. They fixed my issue fast and didn't complain. I haven't had a problem with my plumbing thus far. This is the company I would love to come fix my plumbing issues and I will refer them to friends in a heartbeat.

Very impressed. Was in a bind on a Saturday. Victor came out within 90 minutes of my call and was very knowledgeable about the Flologic leak detection system we had that showed a possible leak. Within 15 minutes he advised the issue was with the valve for that system that got stuck in the off position. He fixed it, tested the system and we were good to go. I'm very thankful for getting in touch with the right company. Victor was very professional, friendly, and if we have any further plumbing or electric issues we will call Titan.

Thank you to Travis, Brian, and Pete at Titan! We had a great experience with their plumbing and electrical work. They showed up on time, were easy to communicate with, and got everything done quickly and professionally. The plumbing issues were fixed without any hassle, and the electrical work was completed neatly and works perfectly. They explained everything along the way, cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful of our home. Highly recommend them for any plumbing or electrical needs.

Travis, employed by Titan Plumbing, is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. The son of the owner, he treats people with 110% satisfaction. Great guy. I tell all my neighbors and friends about the job he did.
